Max Myers not incorporating the previous sequels was very lazy writing. There is such a rich history with Michael Myers! In Halloween 4-6 we follow Laurie’s daughter Jamie; then in H20 we learn that Laurie faked her death and moved to California. How can the writers just throw all of that away?
WRRRRRROOOOONG about the knife. Bottomline: It was a clear display of a difference in heroine approach. In the first Halloween, Laurie kept dropping the knife. She kept letting control of the situation go. Her granddaughter did NOT - and will not - make the same mistake that has likely haunted Laurie for years.
The ending was lame and unrealistic. They lose a loved one (Ray) and there's not one tear from any of them. Even Laurie cried at the end of the original Halloween.
I'm hoping they do a better job in the sequel. Probably not.
Hated the movie tbh. It kept getting worse and more stupid as it went along. What really lost it for me was the mental hospital doctor helping Myers by killing the sheriff, I literally thought WTF that is dross.
So here are my thoughts. All of the movies besides the first and this one are trash and should be forgotten forever :) I think the gore was a bit much for me because I don't like seeing that kind of stuff. Also I didn't like how he killed the little boy because that's just cruel. Like he's a boy. He probably wasn't even a teen yet. And how people are saying that they liked how he didn't kill the baby, he killed it's family. So how is the baby supposed to live then? He basically did kill it by leaving it to die on it's own without food, unless someone finds it before it's too late. I was so frustrated when he killed Vicky? Is that her name? Idk I forgot. But she was such a good babysitter and she did not deserve to die. at least the little boy survived. Anyway the ending was fAnTasTiC and this is an overall pretty good movie.
I loved it.. But Michael is not dead.. Trust me he not dead.. Too kill an icon of horror movie life that
.. Nope.. If jason can survive and freddy come on .. I bet the second installment. Will be more epic with more retro music.. I want too see that thrill factor . and rob zombie movies where good but john carpenter is the fucking man....
He must of got out because when the mask was in the police car after he got ran over, he teleported or something to it and maybe this means he can teleport to his own things. He could teleport to the knife, which is why the camera zooms in on the knife at the end
This was a perfect ending because it gives the viewer hope that Michael is still alive, yet it still makes the viewer feel Laurie's victory over finally "killing" Michael. A great way to end a movie while also continuing a franchise.
With all those slasher resurfacing again but this as a continuation id give it a 11/10 :) exceeds my expectation and definitely surpass friday the 13th remake and nightmare on elm street, somehow it is nostalgic and modern both combined and well balance... I know Michael is alive at the last 5 seconds of credit his breathing can be heard loudly and the doctor saying that both Laurie and Michael drive each other to fight for survival meaning if Laurie is alive it is a guarantee Michael is alive as well... I hope they finally make the Jason vs Michael Myers everyone has been waiting for
I just thought that the movie would have been a little better than what it was because Jamie Lee Curtis was in it first Michael was to big , what happened to Jamie's son that Tommy Doyle had , what happened to laures son from h20 they don't say anything about it so y'all tell me what happened to these people please ?
Micheals spirit of pure evil is excellent but I believe that when they make the sequel what’s gonna happen is his spirit will possibly transfer to someone else’s body or there could be a chance that he possibly escaped some how from the basement or his soul transfers from his body to Laurie’s daughter thus making micheal Mayer’s alive but just in a woman’s body I mean come on this dudes fingers got blown clean off my a shotgun I mean when you think about it if he did survive I don’t know how on earth there gonna make the movie better then this one if they do they will be the best horror movie makers in history in my book I believe that they have left us with so many questions not answered but I believe he’s alive it’s gonna take him time to heal up before going for another round with the strodes once he fully heals up Halloween part 2 the final conclusion they gotta do it will micheal kill the strodes once and for all or will the strodes beat him cuz I mean come on people!!!!!!!!!????
Listen yall this man got ran over by a car , stabbed by shit 100 times , shot like 1000 times , burned 2 times and that man still get up like the undertaker rising from the dead. That man aint die he immortal.😂😂😂😂
I wish there where more shadow stealth kills and jump scare kills Michael was seen to much before every kill.I wish that they followed the formula of the original and what made it scary which is not knowing where Michael was gonna pop out of before making his kill. They only did this towards the end of the movie where Laurie and Michael where playing the cat and mouse game around the booby trapped house.Don't get me wrong I loved this movie for the nostalgia and it was good but it could have been great.
People say michael is alive but im pretty shure thats not the case. I think allyson will become the next killer as u see that she has not let go of the knive just as michael did when he was a little boy. Allyson will continue his legacy...
Poor movie. Nothing that hasnt been done or seen before. It's as if the makers forgot the scream franchise existed, which pulled movies like these apart. It was a silly movie full of convenient plot points and a stupid twist. The ending was anti climatic and for god's sake don't assume he's dead, make sure he's dead.
Are people that dumb that they need to have the ending explained to them. Jesus it's pretty cut and dry. I watched the movie and understand that they trapped him in the basement and set him on fire but he's not dead he got out thru that passage that the daughter Karen got out of when she was a little girl. Because Evil never dies and the movie has made so much money they are to make another one.
If this was the first halloween I watched I wouldn't both watching any more. I liked the way Michael stalked them in the originals and characters were better, I don't think they should of shown michaels face it took the scare factor out and you see the killing better in original
Sure hope another sequel is made, I love these movies!! Hands down my favorite subgenre of horror films and again hands down my favorite film series within the slasher film genre! Please make a sequel???
