Not sure if this answers your question about the bin # on the the listing title.... but on the SellerHub spreadsheet in Edit Mode you can add notes/inventory tracking info in the "Custom Label" column.
Thank you for the video.Check our couples of resources for the storage units for different purpose for you home, offices and businesses. For more details watch out this link #http://www.somersetstorage.com/
Oh, I see, but isn't it extra time consuming to dress the mannequin. Do you feel like the ones on the mannequins get sold faster or at a higher cost. Because I'm just trying to figure out how to sell my old clothing and I'm thinking it's so tedious to even sort my clothes let alone having to dress the mannequin for every piece :(But I trust you and if you tell me it's worth the extra time then I'll do it!!!
Hi! I've been following you and I THINK we've been in the Lakeland Goodwill at the same time. 😀
I want to get started in mid June and I'm just getting set up. I LOVED this video. Thank you!!!! I need more how to get started videos - all the super simple basics (posting tips, does everyone wash and iron clothes?, etc). Do you have videos like that here and I should just scroll through? Thank you so much!!! I'm excited 🤓 to get started
Awesome video! Thanks again for taking the time to share. Your new intro is SWEET! I just opened my basic store this month and earned my top rated seller badge. Your videos have been very helpful in that accomplishment! I have limited storage space and I'm trying to understand the logic behind different inventory systems to scale my process as I hopefully continue to grow. I am wondering how you determine which bin you'll place newly listed clothing in? I'm curious to know if you use the same alpha lettering label system for non-clothing items? Thanks again Casey!
I'm no where near this level lol but my questions are 1-Are these all items that's been listed or need listing? 2-what's the average time you should hold onto inventory? I mean after it's been listed. TY

,,,So i finally figured out how to get my Inventory Bin # to print on labels.
So when i make the listing i put my Inventory Bin # in the Custom Label (SKU).
Now when i go to print my shipping labels i go to Bulk Shipping.
Then go to Label Preferences.
Check mark "Automatically populate custom text to be printed on label"
Last select "Custom Label".
Now whatever you previously put into your listing under SKU will print on the shipping label.

bin A and B looks big and heavy.
how do u pick an item from these bins? u get on a ladder and find it up there? or do u bring down the entire bin to the floor and put it back on top?
I am having the hardest time with my storage. I only sell clothing and shoes. But they take up sooooo much space that my entire living room is overtaken with plastic tubs. There has got to be a better way!! I like your system, please do more in depth videos like this one. I buy on eBay and sell on Poshmark and I can not tell you how many hours I spend digging for misplaced items. Thanks for the links I am going to get the label maker and poly bags right now!! -Hillary Marek from Hillary's of Houston Luxury Clothing and Vintage Boutiques
Does anyone know if using a thermal label printer , is better than a regular paper printer????? I ship 150 to 200 items a month on my ebay store. P.S. Dude I love your stuff I watch it slash listen to it while I'am Listing Its kinda like workout music for listing
Instead of making bin M, S, L etc. why don't you just make bin T1 T2 etc. That way you don't have to think about it. And you could put an (S) in the Bin T2 that way you would never have to get confused.
I don't know if the option is there when bulk printing shipping labels, but there is a checkbox on the singular shipment to print the sku on the shipping label. I currently only have 1 shipment for tomorrow so I can't see if it's on the bulk shipment page.
Perfect timing for this video! I have almost 300 clothing listings now and I don't have an inventory system yet. Need to get on this bandwagon real soon because I'm already taking too much time to find stuff.
Yup I use free cardboard boxes I get from local stores. The plastic containers like RSF is showing cost $8 + up near me, that would be over $200 just for organizing 26 of them. In order to make them look more professional I tack on some pretty contact paper on the front side, no need to have it go all around the box in the back if you can't see that side! The Dollar Tree has a decent selection of papers Truth is maybe someday I'll need to move into a bigger place for all this storage organizing, my spare bedroom is getting filled!.
Nice system. It appears that you are using your garage for your storage area. I am near Orlando. I was storing some clothing in my garage last year and had a problem with mold growing on some items and some funky smells on others. The summer humidity and heat wasn't a good mix. I had to move everything back into the a/c. Keep an eye on it to avoid any problems. Mike
I rented a storage unit here in Houston Texas and I thought I had the upper hand on the humidity (yes even in climate control units it's an issue) by using those space saver vacuum seal bags, but this weekend I went to get out the spring/Summer items and although the clothing was just fine, all the handbags were cracked and peeling and stuck together. I didn't vacuum seal them I just used it essentially as a big ziplock bag, but still, they were destroyed. And elastic bindings on some women's shoes were brittle and snapped when pulled on.
Being in Florida I'm sure you have to deal with even more heat and humidity than we do in Texas, do you have any tips or tricks to help me avoid any unforseen damage to the winter items that I am about to put away for the season? Thanks -Hillary
RockstarFlipper Glad I didn't try it then. I seen some people use the item specifics boxes to but that would defeat the purpose of having quick access. The title it is I guess. maybe that's an idea you should toss out to your eBay insider buddies. it would be cool to have a little code box next to all the active and sold listings. it would also look better for buyers. a lot of people use the title. I'm surprised eBay hasn't done anything like that yet.
