Not sure if this answers your question about the bin # on the the listing title.... but on the SellerHub spreadsheet in Edit Mode you can add notes/inventory tracking info in the "Custom Label" column.
Cheryl Ward (1 month ago)
Thank you sir🙋
I don't usually see the point in buying someone's merchandise but, this is brilliant. If you don't know people who do this , it's like wearing a sign. Brilliant

Look up a video about how to secure your garage door from would be theives. All I takes is a 2x4 screwed in overhead and your garage will be more secure! :)
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Mine is secured with an alarm on the door and a key lock
Shawn Shepherd (1 year ago)
Do you have a link to the binds?
Julia L (1 year ago)
So I've looked through your listings of clothing. Some are on dummies but some are just laid flat. How do you determine which to put on a mannequin and which not to
Julia L (1 year ago)
Oh, I see, but isn't it extra time consuming to dress the mannequin. Do you feel like the ones on the mannequins get sold faster or at a higher cost. Because I'm just trying to figure out how to sell my old clothing and I'm thinking it's so tedious to even sort my clothes let alone having to dress the mannequin for every piece :(But I trust you and if you tell me it's worth the extra time then I'll do it!!!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Anything that won't fit on our mannequins or that is bottoms etc we do flat lay. Kids clothes usually on the flat lay. I HATE FLAT LAY, so I try not to do it, unless I have to
Henry Stewart (1 year ago)
What's the size of the larger storage bin? I'm guessing 11 gallons?
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
which would actually make them 14.5 gallons
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
I believe so, im pretty sure there 58qts
Isabelle L (1 year ago)
Hi! I've been following you and I THINK we've been in the Lakeland Goodwill at the same time. 😀 I want to get started in mid June and I'm just getting set up. I LOVED this video. Thank you!!!! I need more how to get started videos - all the super simple basics (posting tips, does everyone wash and iron clothes?, etc). Do you have videos like that here and I should just scroll through? Thank you so much!!! I'm excited 🤓 to get started
Jillian lea (1 year ago)
This seems really simple! Thanks . I only have a small amount but i can see where this can be a problem quickly and im trying to establish a system
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Yes! storage and organization is EVERYTHING
Dan Gryczka (1 year ago)
Awesome video! Thanks again for taking the time to share. Your new intro is SWEET! I just opened my basic store this month and earned my top rated seller badge. Your videos have been very helpful in that accomplishment! I have limited storage space and I'm trying to understand the logic behind different inventory systems to scale my process as I hopefully continue to grow. I am wondering how you determine which bin you'll place newly listed clothing in? I'm curious to know if you use the same alpha lettering label system for non-clothing items? Thanks again Casey!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Thanks for watching Dan. Yes I use the same numbering system for NON clothing items, if an electronic or video game sells I know to go to those bins instead of the clothing bins
ThatLadyDray (1 year ago)
I'm no where near this level lol but my questions are 1-Are these all items that's been listed or need listing? 2-what's the average time you should hold onto inventory? I mean after it's been listed. TY
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
These are all listed items, once they are they go in the lettered or numbered bins. I have inventory over a year old. I dont get rid of much. I donate 1 or 2 times a year
Josh Chaney 4 days ago ,,,So i finally figured out how to get my Inventory Bin # to print on labels. So when i make the listing i put my Inventory Bin # in the Custom Label (SKU). Now when i go to print my shipping labels i go to Bulk Shipping. Then go to Label Preferences. Check mark "Automatically populate custom text to be printed on label" Last select "Custom Label". Now whatever you previously put into your listing under SKU will print on the shipping label.
Michael A (1 year ago)
There is a click mark when you go to to print your ebay label. It will say something like print SKU Link: https://www.ebayinc.com/assets/Uploads/Blog/2014/01/Unknown.png
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
It prints the item number, unless you go to bulk shipping batch it seems
Josh Chaney (1 year ago)
Casey i have some good news for you. So i finally figured out how to get my Inventory Bin # to print on labels. So when i make the listing i put my Inventory Bin # in the Custom Label (SKU). Now when i go to print my shipping labels i go to Bulk Shipping. Than go to Label Preferences. Check mark "Automatically populate custom text to be printed on label" Last select "Custom Label". Now whatever you previously put into your listing under SKU will print on the shipping label.
Cardcaptor Serene (1 year ago)
thank you for sharing. bin A and B looks big and heavy. how do u pick an item from these bins? u get on a ladder and find it up there? or do u bring down the entire bin to the floor and put it back on top?
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
yeah I just drop the bin, grab the item, and then put it back up.. Only part that sucks but it just takes a second
Hillary Marek (1 year ago)
I am having the hardest time with my storage. I only sell clothing and shoes. But they take up sooooo much space that my entire living room is overtaken with plastic tubs. There has got to be a better way!! I like your system, please do more in depth videos like this one. I buy on eBay and sell on Poshmark and I can not tell you how many hours I spend digging for misplaced items. Thanks for the links I am going to get the label maker and poly bags right now!! -Hillary Marek from Hillary's of Houston Luxury Clothing and Vintage Boutiques
laura conrad (1 year ago)
Hey Casey! It was nice seeing you at the bins today. I have learned so much from your videos and you have my respect.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
HEY LAURA!! ALWAYS WONDERFUL to see you!!
robovintage (1 year ago)
Does anyone know if using a thermal label printer , is better than a regular paper printer????? I ship 150 to 200 items a month on my ebay store. P.S. Dude I love your stuff I watch it slash listen to it while I'am Listing Its kinda like workout music for listing
robovintage (1 year ago)
Thank you RockstarFlipper!!!!!!!!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
In the long run you will save money yes.. no need to buy ink. Just buy thermal label paper
Smith Michelle (1 year ago)
Instead of making bin M, S, L etc. why don't you just make bin T1 T2 etc. That way you don't have to think about it. And you could put an (S) in the Bin T2 that way you would never have to get confused.
Jeff C (1 year ago)
Great Video and I was going to suggest the same idea or just skip those those letters in your system - kind of like hotels with no 13th floor :-)
Smith Michelle (1 year ago)
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful! I'm going to try your system.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Yeah we are working on changing those to something other than S M L for sure
Nate R (1 year ago)
are you talking about printing the shipping label? the title isn't going to be on there anyway.. sorry I'm confused, but I'd love to know! anyone, Thanks!!
if you print the shipping label with product invoice information it's there in the packing list. (the title)
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Yeah the title appears on the label..thus my label or bin # appears
Mary L (1 year ago)
Hi, Does your clothes get wrinkled when stored like that?
Mary L (1 year ago)
Thank you!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
They can...but it gets wrinkled in shipping also
Arkoffusion (1 year ago)
where did you get the shelves?
Arkoffusion (1 year ago)
TYTY
Home Depot like stores and Costco has them on sale from time to time...esp. January when people try to organize.
Glenn (1 year ago)
Awesome to see exactly your system. I've shown you mine the other week. I think it's a really good way to store and locate things.
John Crowley (1 year ago)
greeting from Boca great info
fredeck19 (1 year ago)
Hi, can you please make a video on how to manage your business money?
Tara Ludi (1 year ago)
Ahhhhh NEW INTROOOOO!!!!! :)
Karina Patterson (1 year ago)
My sku line show up when I do bulk shipping labels.
Vanessa Mary (1 year ago)
Casey - are you not concerned with bugs getting into the bins that don't have lids? (love your system!)
Toni E (1 year ago)
Question I have a buyer who just signed up and wants me to send the item to a hotel that has been paid for do you think that's risky to do? Or should I cancel the order
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Ship only to the address provided. If its a hotel your covered.
Jonathan M (1 year ago)
I don't know if the option is there when bulk printing shipping labels, but there is a checkbox on the singular shipment to print the sku on the shipping label. I currently only have 1 shipment for tomorrow so I can't see if it's on the bulk shipment page.
Jonathan M (1 year ago)
Yea I see that after trying it today. Checkbox says Sku/Order number but it only does the order number for some reason.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Yeah I check the box for SKU but its not the thing I put in the sku line when making the listing.
Phillip LaMaire (1 year ago)
Nice video Casey, great information as usual!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)

drummer (1 year ago)
Nice Casey, how did you know i am trying to organize inventory ! thanks
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
I felt it!!
seeamerica1 (1 year ago)
Thanks, very helpful. So exactly how do you use the letters S-M-L in your headings?
Maxwell Bernstein (1 year ago)
You could substitute & for S, ^^for M, and [ for L.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
LOL, get back to me on that.
Hall's Hangout (1 year ago)
Is your garage air conditioned?
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
if you look above my head in my "here in my garage video" you see the duct working. helps with my car also when its plugged in charging it can get a little hot
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Indeed it is.
Megan Mawhinney (1 year ago)
Perfect timing for this video! I have almost 300 clothing listings now and I don't have an inventory system yet. Need to get on this bandwagon real soon because I'm already taking too much time to find stuff.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Yeah gotta organize like crazy or you'll get in trouble
Karen Hawver (1 year ago)
This is great. I bag mine. I cut boxes in half and place them there ... that's to save money and not spend it right now. but I like this idea. Thanks!!!
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
I also had the Garage sealed by the door and an alarm put on it
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
My garage is actually AC with a duct because of my car
seeamerica1 (1 year ago)
Be careful of getting mold & smells in a garage.
Karen Hawver (1 year ago)
yeah my spare room is packed. next move needs a double car garage.
seeamerica1 (1 year ago)
Yup I use free cardboard boxes I get from local stores. The plastic containers like RSF is showing cost $8 + up near me, that would be over $200 just for organizing 26 of them. In order to make them look more professional I tack on some pretty contact paper on the front side, no need to have it go all around the box in the back if you can't see that side! The Dollar Tree has a decent selection of papers Truth is maybe someday I'll need to move into a bigger place for all this storage organizing, my spare bedroom is getting filled!.
5797029 (1 year ago)
Nice system. It appears that you are using your garage for your storage area. I am near Orlando. I was storing some clothing in my garage last year and had a problem with mold growing on some items and some funky smells on others. The summer humidity and heat wasn't a good mix. I had to move everything back into the a/c. Keep an eye on it to avoid any problems. Mike
Maxwell Bernstein (1 year ago)
Don't rotate by season, keep things listed and available. Many people buy ahead or live in/travel to different climates/ elevations throughout the year. HTH. :)
Hillary Marek (1 year ago)
I rented a storage unit here in Houston Texas and I thought I had the upper hand on the humidity (yes even in climate control units it's an issue) by using those space saver vacuum seal bags, but this weekend I went to get out the spring/Summer items and although the clothing was just fine, all the handbags were cracked and peeling and stuck together. I didn't vacuum seal them I just used it essentially as a big ziplock bag, but still, they were destroyed. And elastic bindings on some women's shoes were brittle and snapped when pulled on. Being in Florida I'm sure you have to deal with even more heat and humidity than we do in Texas, do you have any tips or tricks to help me avoid any unforseen damage to the winter items that I am about to put away for the season? Thanks -Hillary
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
My garage is sealed and AC duct running in, it also has an alarm on it through my alarm system
seeamerica1 (1 year ago)
Exactly that's what I was afraid of so I keep everything in a spare bedroom & if it get too hot & humid I turn on the a/c.
Denise Holland (1 year ago)
lol.. lets see you do that with dishes
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Righhhhhhht lol
Lochlee (1 year ago)
nice new shirts! That's exactly how I started my inventory. I had to figure out something it was getting crazy lol. thanks for the video!

Melissa thanks a bunch! :-)
daisygpayan (1 year ago)
Thanks for sharing. If you want your custom sku to show up with the label info before you print go to customize on the manage orders screen and click on custom label. Hope that helps :)
Lisa Brooks (1 year ago)
daisygpayan thanks!
Lisa Brooks (1 year ago)
I don't want the sku printed, but I would like it to show up with the sold item. Is there a way around that? I can't even find it there.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Im going to check that out thanks. first person to suggest it
Etown Vintage Buys (1 year ago)
on the print label page it asks if you want to print the sku number. it's one of the check boxes under the weight.
Etown Vintage Buys (1 year ago)
RockstarFlipper Glad I didn't try it then. I seen some people use the item specifics boxes to but that would defeat the purpose of having quick access. The title it is I guess. maybe that's an idea you should toss out to your eBay insider buddies. it would be cool to have a little code box next to all the active and sold listings. it would also look better for buyers. a lot of people use the title. I'm surprised eBay hasn't done anything like that yet.
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
No it doesn't work. tried it. prints some random number not the number or letter I put in the SKU line
Etown Vintage Buys (1 year ago)
not sure if it works. I put mine in the title to. I was under the impression that every item had to have a different sku so I didn't want to mess with something I don't understand.
Terri Berry (1 year ago)
I love the new intro
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
I love it to since I cut it to 15 seconds
chasethedream 717 (1 year ago)
Terri Berry me too
Nathan Storer (1 year ago)
interesting intro these days. kinda long though :/
Nathan Storer (1 year ago)
RockstarFlipper :D
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
I cut it down to like 15 seconds
Nathan Storer (1 year ago)
I can agree with that
Zac Vogel (1 year ago)
Nathan Storer I like it, but maybe delete the parts where he's talking. Everything else is great! That would make the into shorter
Chef_Honey11 Rob (1 year ago)
Love the new edit on the intro! You going live tonight?
Chef_Honey11 Rob (1 year ago)
Yea I was in there. Busy at work. A lot of great info about how all of you take pictures. Really cool live show. Can't wait till next week
RockstarFlipper (1 year ago)
Was live with Luke :-)
