Hi! Thanks for your great video. I have a question. With goodwill receipt has not description of product , it only shows Red$2.99, Blue -$3.99 like color price tags, in case if you need to submit the receipt to amazon when seller will cause issue with your listing, how can you proof that you bought the product from local store or not counterfeit product?
Ryan..this may be a stupid question...I have set my sellers account up and have listed a couple of things just to see how it goes, however,I was never ask about setting up a paypal account or anything,I do buy things on eBay so my payment info is in there,if someone makes a purchase from me ,how are they going to pay me.lol.
I like what you said about buying something to help the right owner to find it. That's how I feel. And if someone says, How can you charge so much for a thrift store item? FINDERS FEE! I love helping to re-home vintage items!
Excellent comment about the stock market Ryan, we have made this our "college" this past year, we spend every spare moment researching smart stocks and have learned so much. Holy cow! this year has been $$$$ incredible!!!!! My husband & I just want to give back and help other people. Our neighbors so desperately need a new fence, we would love to be able to surprise them with it.
Keep up the great work Allie, Ryan & Callie! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
Good for you, giving that guy money playing the violin. He was providing a beautiful service and you showed your appreciation. He's got a gig and you paid him from him which I can wholly support. :) And you found some great stuff too. :)
Hey man good video. I am a fairly new seller. Doing decent in RA and am generating about $35k in sales since March. Question is do you find stuff in Target regularly? Do you scan everything and how much time do you spend at each store? I'm a new subscriber so if you have videos to answer these questions please link. Thanks!
LOL People.... We have been sourcing items from wholesalers since the 1970s so this guy is doing nothing new or novel. Go to the Atlanta Gift Mart, Dallas Gift Mart, ASD, or other temporary wholesale shows to find millions of products for free. NEVER pay someone to hand you a source because they are not putting your interest first. LOL.. Yesterday we received a pallet from 888lots and it has a massive potential of items to make a ton of profit. We do it all, antiques, collectibles, estates, auctions, yard sales etc and have for 40 years. Sitting on your butt at home can be boring and makes you lazy and numb to what you can learn from being out and sourcing.
Ryan he is just using your channel to pitch his paid for his connections which I dont think he has any. NO NEED to pay anyone for sources at all or pay someone to join a group. Too much free information to pay someone who just might be struggling with selling themselves and need to make money off newbies and people who are not experienced yet. Anyone who is selling sources or wanting money to join a group is a joke. They turn around and compete against you anyway so no need. Willing to bet this source does NOT supply the limited edition Jordons we just bought from Ross.
What in the heck are you talking about? I never said we sold those items on Amazon and to let you know we are ungated and grandfathered in ALL Amazon categories as we have been selling on Amazon for 10 years. We are absolutely killing it on selling Nike, Under Armour etc period. I am the original and oldest active picker and seller of all people on you tube. Been doing this since I was 17 years old which is 40 years ago. Not many do I learn from as far as products, just enjoy certain people who help others and have great personalities. The wife is even better as her parents owned a retail store since she was 11 so not much to learn from others other then picking up new tips or tricks some do share. We are retired and do this as a hobby, not as an income. As the oldest picker you will ever know we enjoy the thrill of the hunt and flipping anything under the son.
So guys, I’m glued to your channel and watching my email for the coaching program to be announced.
Thanks for all the great content and your focus on teaching while being entertaining.
Oh, and did you get the Unicorn for Allie I mailed over? Hope you liked it!
WookieeMonster yes we shave the pills and wash the clothes that need it. Of course we tell our buyers the clothes are used. We sell used clothes on eBay, we follow all eBay’s guidelines and we have a 99.8% positive feedback rating with thousands and thousands of transactions.
Good show as always.....been trying retail arbitrage at Ross and Marshalls sometimes Burlington never know but trying to branch out from just Thrift Stores as ours in the Seattle area are horribly pricey might as well get a new product at Ross or Marshalls !!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Allie and happy hunting always ! Corie
Are those birds Sandhill Cranes? I hear them fly over my house as they migrate. They stop at our lake in North Georgia passing through. Love the sounds they make. Beautiful big birds! Keep them in the videos! 😀
Ryan, you sure do manage to pack a lot of info into every single one you post~really helpful stuff, always encouraging, even when some folks are not so much~that's a serious skill brother. Not to mention the fact that you're living life exactly the way you want to, on your own terms~that can be hard to digest for some. Appreciate how gracious you manage to be, nonetheless. Hoping you feel free to vent with those you trust now and then~plus the work outs and lifting always helps! I know you'll keep doing you regardless, life is GOOD.
RV thereyet? I want you to know that I always look for your comments in particular because they are always so encouraging! Thank you! We’re doing our best to help people and stay grateful and humble. Glad it shows in our videos. Have an awesome weekend! 😊😊
+Ralli Roots I recently hit a jackpot at my local goodwill and came into about $1500 very quickly. I’ve been reselling on eBay for over a year now and I would like some advice on how to get into wholesale buying since I now have the capital to do so. Thanks
Just a quicky question ;) Around 2:00 mins and it cut when you were talking about investing in stocks etc....did u cut talking about Crypto Currency and/ Or bitcoin ;) If not ....look it up peeps Have a great night thanks for the vids!
Thanks for the heads up on those target socks.....most likely out of stock up here as well. How do you determine which items will be hot sellers during the season without seeing the market on those? Or is it more of constantly checking articles online and checking ebay in the early season?
Ralli Roots I was able to pick up the Disney and Woman of DC Comics 12 days of socks. Also grabbed some Fingerlings, a Hatchimal Surprise and Hatchimal Nursery playset. BTW guys....Hatchimal Surprise is 52.99 instead of 69.99 at the moment at Target if you can grab one somehow. Thanks again for the heads up. I have only done retail arbitrage with Limited Funko Pops.
Where do you even start to find a wholesale supplier? Alot of resellers mention having suppliers, but everything about it treated as a big secret. It's very disheartening. I just wish someone would help even if it's just the basics.
Mystery Person 43 if we give away our actual suppliers the market would get flooded. If you’re trying to get into wholesale though and you never have I would suggest starting at your local auctions and start networking with those people.
Another great video Ryan!!..garage sale season is over for me about 3 weeks ago. Cold is here..lol..I am in Western New York. 2hrs from Buffalo, I been going to Good Will, and hitting the retail stores. Its been helping. Learned a lot from hustlehacks and hustlers on cleats and sneakers and I made some money cause of them. There great guys..You right,Have to diversify.
Oh thank goodness! I was beginning to worry about you kiddos because I hadn't had my RalliRoots motivation video for the day. I'm so happy to have the video, whew! Ryan thanks for the multiple streams of income speech, I think everyone who is human needs to hear that speech every once in a while, because you know, it can be easy to get off track. Alli you are beautiful as usual my dear! So glad you all had a happy day! Also, thank you so much for the birdies! I LOVE them! I want to go to there just to see them in person, they are beautiful! Are they feisty?
Cool cause i was almost about done watching certain youtube resellers, (trying to sell me guides, you know who they are) "cough" Room...lol before i found you guys. Ralli Roots is amazing. Cantu, ch hunter, college picker and jason t smith are also some of my favorites. I love fast information thats delivered with personality and edited well. People process and learn information so much quicker while enjoying their time doing it. I appreciate the effort you put in these videos. Thanks Ryan!
Thank you!!!! :) yeah, youtube is an outlet for us not a sales platform. as long as we're having fun making the videos and people are enjoying them we'll keep it going, and I agree, whenever I want to learn something and retain the information I look to youtube. Thanks for your support Doug!
I watched 13 minutes without a gorgeous girl but you managed to throw in a few seconds. And what was she doing? EATING. I swear I don't see how she stays so tiny. But seriously, good bolos. Appreciate the heads up. I don't sell many clothes but I do sell shoes and I will keep an eye out for Fitflops now.
:) Alli and Calie say hi! Alison can definitely put down some pizza! LMAO, good thing she runs 4 miles a day ;) Yeah! Fitflops those are great. I will try to start including some more hardgoods bolos :)
ROLL TIDE!! No war eagle, lol. Good finds on the AU shirts, though, they'll sell fast, probably this week since Alabama plays Auburn this coming up weekend (Nov. 25th)! Maybe if listed today they could ship out fast enough!
Love u guys, i get the rant about diversifying. I just hope you guys keep making videos like this and not go the direction of only selling people seminars and progams...like a lot of resellers eventually do. They just stop hustling and reselling and only make money off programs, which is cool, but eventually they lose touch with the market. Get large logo lacoste! Sell like hot cakes Rock on Ryan
Resellers are doing service to community as American waste is burden with trashed Clothes. Even salivation armies resell only small percentage and dispose the rest. It is all about recycling and conscious consuming if we want to elevate human suffering.
Hey Ryan! So for clothing, I know you like aiming for 50% margins or more, but what's your lowest "consistently acceptable" margin for individual purchases? I was confused when you said you bought those 2 Lacoste shirts for $10 each and were going to sell them together for $49. That's only about a 33% margin roughly if you're paying about $6.30 to ship them together. I anxiously await your response bud! :)
Yea correct, so sometimes it depends on the revenue not the margin. if we can spend $10,000 to make $12,000 overnight guaranteed, we're gonna take the 20% margin all day long, if you get that. If the items flip quickly we'll take a lower margin, the 50% NET is overall throughout our business. It's sitting right at 52% right now actually.
Hey Tim, you're one of my favorites! I always look forward to your comments. If you don't comment, I get super worried something happened to you! It makes me feel like a mom haha! I hope everything gets better, I know life isn't all rainbows, sprinkles and unicorns but your deserve all the sprinkles! Let me know how you're doing, I'm so concerned right now.
