Houston suburbs make home owners pay for garage sales. They are getting rare, maybe about 3 a weekend. Huge flea markets are waaay better. Lots of clothing and collectibles. The school and church garage sales would be the best bet.
Yard Sale Treasure Map IS THE BOMB! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Question... I have been selling for a couple decades and my sales always slow way down for clothing in June until Back to School buyers return in late July. What products do you recommend listing during that lull that generate sales for you all? Thanks!
In Wisconsin we are just getting started on Garage Sale season. The last two weeks were dry, nothing to be found, but I have hope for this weekend. There are 2 neighborhood sales near by. Should be fun!! Thanks for the tips!
Garage sale season starts early May for us in NY, can’t wait - especially love old home estate sales even though they can be a bit more $$. Spoke with my cousin earlier & I’ll be helping him clear out his parents apartment, kinda sad but fun as well as my aunt had amazing taste, beautiful things Bad part is I know I’ll be bringing home things I recall growing up for my already cluttered home😳! My aunt was the one who taught me all about garage sales, thrifting. I’d tag along back in the 60s & 70s learning so much. Much of the big stuff was sold at an auction house (that’s how much they were worth, all bought secondhand) when they moved, but loads of smalls & my uncles electronics (most sound too new but you never know), I mostly hope I can help so the apartment can sell & he can make some cash. Fun haul, loved those fireplace heaters, so cute! Have a great week! Jet🧡🎸🎶⚡️
I've been wondering why Alli doesn't wear wigs. She could have a different color, length and style every day and not have to go through the trouble of dying her real hair. Ryan could wear them too. Lol that'd be hilarious. ;)
@RALLI ROOTS I recently saw the one where she was a white unicorn. She looked so pretty. You made a comment in one of your videos about Alli being eye candy. You both are ;) You two are really a cute couple.
Fun video guys! I managed to sneak some thrifting in this morning but I have so much stuff to post! I listed over 55 items in my eBay store today and got some nice shoes and a Harley shirt at goodwill. Any tips or do you guys have videos on dealing with return requests on eBay?
Nice! Sounds like it might be time to hire some help :) returns are part of the business, offer a partial refund if you can, if not, just accept the return and work it into your PnL. Try to keep your return rate under 4% and you'll be fine
I must be doing something WRONG. I sell nice stuff like practicly new English laundry shirts that are like $200 NEW AND I can't get $25 for them. I take great pics and write loads of info but nothing. What am I doing wrong?
I did get lucky with one of those Roar shirts recently. I paid $8 for it new with tags and sold it for $55. I don't see them offen around here though. I'd definitely buy more.
could be the brands you're selling or the price points you're asking. English laundry for example isn't a great brand to resell, even new ones. 400 active listings and 155 sales is only a 38% sell through rate and most are selling for well under $25. You just have to do the research.
@RALLI ROOTS Hi thanks for answering me so fast. I am just learning to list in Ebay. Do you have to pay a separate monthly fee for each shop or are they all separate accounts? I am just wondering how a person does that for later. Thanks
@RALLI ROOTS I lived on Melbourne Beach(literally ) now I live in North Ga!! OMG.. LOL .. And wish I would have meet up with you guys!! But there are some great places up here and the one GW I try to go to at least twice a week is pretty cheap.. they don't upcharge on things but the ones in town do.. .. ;)
I totally passed on the Fireplace Heaters. My Mom and I hit the Brandon Community yardsales and I was in that Goodwill. Could have met you. Thanks for the Shout Out On the Live Feed. By the way this is Mark Brewer.
So i was talking to my buddy who also watches the vlogs with are great by the way and this was our convo... I know im not the only one who has noticed....its like he cant wait for her to stop yapping....then he just dumps on her info and over shines with his info
Buddy:-Yeah he’s a diva
RALLI ROOTS I know, my town is kinda more of a country city, not many ppl here are into high end brands and stuff, and most ppl know sell their good stuff on ebay rather than online. I drive a gas guzzler Jeep so sometimes I waste more gas money than anything. At least the jeeps payed off lol. Estate sales seem to be being ran by hired ppl now, and they are pricing shit crazy, I’m still finding cool stuff at thrift stores. That cat Akli lives in Santa Barbra man he finds gold all the time, rich city. I’m just doing this part time so it’s ok,
Great finds! The videos are awesome! Thanks for sharing! I found a cool item in my clothing returns pile and listed it on auction and the bidding was fierce, 33 bids on this item! I didn't know much about it and could not find comps for this item. It was closed at $131 with shipping! The guy bought it to resell, then on LetGo app I found a backpack and they wanted $340 USD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WTF.... I don't care as I got a great return for this item! I have more boxes to sort thru and maybe there is another one! Yeah Right!!!LOL Have a great week, Joe B from Canada!
