I also want to say thank you (like some other guys down here), because you brought me in the right way in therms of Fashion and inspired me a lot.
My style back in the days was like all teens: not really existing. I remember that in the 6. grade I wore a lot of basic sporty T-shirts from Decathlon, because I liked the fit, way too long jeans and the chunky Vans skate shoes . Plus a Hoody in the cold days. ...I mean it could be worse, but now I just think to my self: “Did I thought at all?!” 😅😂
Have a great day and thanks. 😉
I’m 28 years old. Love all the #TBT pictures outfit. I totally agree confidence is key. I always say it doesn’t matter what you wear or who you’re wearing it’s how you wear it, confidence and how you put it together. Point number 3 is a good point I’ve been transitioning my style and fashion scene and updating my wardrobe. I love the last tip. Great video and tips.
Thank you for all your Inspiration. I'm 18 years old and i want to make a German Fashion Blog for Students. Many of my Outfits arge inspired by you or Justin liv for example. I think most important fort Teens is that they shouls built up First a warddrobe with their favourite and basic peaces of their type of style.
My advice to the teens is to avoid tees/sweatshirts with big logos (better no logos at all), athletic shoes (wear instead low/high top sneakers and casual boots) and pay attention to the fabrics (avoid acrylic fabrics and opt for cotton/wool) and their texture (more texture = more style).
I'm 17 and I'm trying to look stylish and people make fun of me for it. If I wear Chelsea boots for example people make fun of me or if I wear a turtleneck people make fun of me as well and I don't know why. But I the most important thing is that I won't stop to do it because I feel so comfortable while I look good
I got my own advice to the young and young at heart. If you want a killer outfit and don't have the fashion vibe to every last detail then buy all your clothes head to toes(whatever) from the same manufacturer in the same season. All the colors and textures and cuts, really work with each other in harmony. All blacks are not the same, all whites are not the same. Your blacks from one place are gonna be totally different then blacks from the other place so on and so on. I wish I would of followed my own advice at the beginning. Maybe I'm stopping you from learning, sorry. Don't get me wrong, it was good but it easily could of been greater, if your down with a look . I'm gonna be tailoring my clothes more than I have. I only used to do that with dress pants. Reasonable fit takes you over the top but color trumps cut in my book.Yeah if your confused just go with all black from different places till you get the eventual vibe. Enough of this disjointed thinking but it really does make a noticeable difference, at least to me. Peace.
Hey Marcel. I’m a transguy transitioning in the summer so I’m gonna need a brand new wardrobe. I’m going to be a senior in high school (17 years old) which brands/clothes should I invest it? What are some basics? Also what watch would you recommend? Thanks bro
‘Recreate outfits from your inspiration’, for me and a lot of guys that’s YOU Marcel, thanks for always giving me new ways to style what I already have in my wardrobe, and advice on must-have pieces to get!
RIP Monsieur Karl
How about a Tribute Video Marcel?
In school I wore a lot of the grunge Look style clothes and had long Hair. As most of the grunge stuff is gone by now apart of some flanell shirts I want my long hair back.
Yo, I'm not a tennager anymore(I'm 22) but this video is super helpful for a lot of people. I already have gone through the points in the video but it's excellent for young people or ppl starting their journey. Thanks a lot bro✌🏻
Dope Video (as always :).
And I love that Tommy Jeans Hoodie... where can I get that???!!!
Btw. will there be more getting dressed videos in close future? My Style actually improved quite a lot through em...
Im 16, since i watched your videos my style has improved a lot. I changed my closet from korean street wear to casual and dapper wear. While almost every student in my school rocks a pair of athletic sneakers, i feel like im the only one stands out because i wear boots to school. Thank you for being my inspiration Marcel.
Ps: sorry if i have any mistakes in my comment, im asian and my english is not so good
im 18 and rn im dressing more (not heavily branded) streetwear/techwear/athleisure. when should i transition into a clean look? im a lot more comfortable w what i wear now, but i know it can’t last forever. again, im not wearing brand-heavy clothing, so that’s a start, but still
Shopping sales/thrifting is the BEST advice ever! It really allows you to do tip #1 without a massive investment i.e. you can try a style and if it doesn't fit, you can chuck it without feeling bad that you're losing a ton of money!
