**** About this video ****
Thrift haul! Thrift road trip! See what we bought! We're driving from florida to texas buying stuff along the way!
Please watch: "Finding Treasure At The Thrift Store To Resell Online!"
This video is kind of funny it gave me flashbacks to the first web cams, the grainy quality but hey it's better than nothing, I admire the fact that you are still filming on the road and I've learned a lot from you including what is now considered cool, vintage stuff. I thought it was pretty funny that I was up at 2:30am this morning watching your video as a little bid war broke out on one of my auctions....and I told my husband that it reminded me of way back when we used to only do auctions, back then I almost sold everything that I ever posted at a good profit but we didn't have digital cameras or camera phones and I still had dial up internet, it took forever to list stuff, it was a big deal to have 10 items listed at a time and of coarse we weren't able to look up stuff as we shopped and no connection with other sellers.
Not sure on revising a listing being charged, but when you have a sub-title in the listing, a enlarged first picture or any other add-on item, the fee for that add on item with be charged each time you re-list the item. So a free listing can add up over time, if you do not watch your invoices, and really fast adding up, for auctions relisting every 3 or 7 days.
One of the commenters said there was a 90 day probationary period with eBay before you get paid when you make a sale. I don't find that in the documentation...Is it true?
Buy it now or make offer...which works better for y'all?
Then you oughtta live here, not Florida. In the intro to this video at 00:17, that balcony on the right is the Bourbon Street Grill, with the best Cajun food in the world, including Louisiana. Then starting at 00:35 is some REAL Bluegrass. This festival is every April and is 25 miles from me, AND...
If you like Bluegrass then I know you've heard of Pickin' in the Park, which has grown to be all over the place. The original is at Horseshoe Bend Park, McCaysville, GA and is every Thursday from 6PM until dark-thirty from May thru September and is about a 45-minute drive from me in a different direction from Bear on the Square in Dahlonega.
Y'all are coming to Atlanta in August for DragonCon. Take Thursday afternoon to take a drive in the north Georgia mountains to Pickin' in the Park. Hell...I might even show you how to get there...I never get my fill of good Bluegrass.
I think the banjos comment was snarkily referring to a scene from "Deliverance". Given that I live about 25 miles from where the Deliverance storyline is set, we are a bit touchy about banjo cracks around here...LOL.
FL Goodwills do have a senior discount day - at least in S. FL. I know because, sadly, I qualify. ;) 15% off. We also have student discount day, also 15% off. I'm 5' even. My 22 yo daughter is 4'7". Teeny tiny. She had the same Pokemon sheets when she was around 5 I think. She'd love to have them again - she's still a fan! I think I probably donated them to Goodwill years ago. Haha. Your road trip is going so well That Indian jacket is amazing. Have fun!!!!
Destin is beautiful! Follow us on instagram @ralliroots to keep up with where we are/will be going :) Not sure yet if we are stopping in Destin on the way back. We might not have the room to fit anything else lol #CramTheCam
