The men used to be interesting but now it's become a pimped out mafioso-look competition. Simple is better guys. One or two stand outs is great, but not a crowd at a sartorial train wreck. You don't know which way to look. One has to appreciate the effort that went into those looks however.
As you can see People looking so sharp, combining colores and with a personal style and taste, there are a few others that looks terrible in my oppinion of course. And I think it appens when People spend too much time trying to be diferente, and it that way they loose the good taste. Eg. Too much beard, too much color, to much accesorios, to much patterns, in fact too much...
Too many Millennial with beards they didn’t earn. No young guy under 35 should be wearing a beard unless he is or was a chief petty officer in his country’s navy. Other wait until you’re over 40; a beard should relflect wisdom and experience...not just a fashion statement but something earned through a life facing and enduring challenges.
I'm going to be honest this Italian street style looks better, to me, I'm older men with facial hair. Preferably silver, gray white hair. I don't know why. I'm not attracted to any of the young ones. But every time I saw an older gentleman he had facial hair and nice rustic worn look. I said that's it that's perfect.
I kove all the mens wear in this video. I just like looking at men when they are dress different and sharp. People say over the top and no where to go I donot care it just nice to see them this way. Why is it different for a man then a women. I LOVE IT. I WATCH ALOT OF CLASSIC MOVIES WILLIAM POWELL,CARY GRANT, RUDOLF SCOTT, were also sharp dressers. Just nothing wrong to see a man out of his blue jeans once in awhile. Some of the men's wear was very distinguish to me.
Way over the top in many cases. While some of the gentlemen do look dapper, especially when the outfit is well put together, most try too hard by over accessorizing which in some cases makes them look clownish.
Why are people complaining? This is what I love about Italy, people are free and not afraid to express thier own individual styles. Im from London and most cities around Europe you have fashion clones everyone walking around wearing the brands looking exactly alike. London and the UK cities have become like that and so is Amsterdam and Paris.
Alberto Gatta ive been to italy several times. i was in rome last year and its not like london or amsterdam. literally every one is wearing canada goose jackets, skinny jeans and nike haraches. last year everyone was wearing raybans. in rome the i didnt see hundreds of italians walking around looking exactly the same or wearing the same item.
I just subscribed to your YouTube channel yesterday when seeing this video! Awesome videography. Everybody saying, the looks are an overboard. We should all celebrate the men who come here and show of these amazing looks. We should celebrate self-expression and that is what Pitti Uomo also is. Some of the colors these guys pulled off was simply awesome. I wish more men would dare to dress like this not simply be an "architect, graphic designer, or fashion designer" and wear all black. I loved the monochromatic look 1:36 also. My favorite looks were by the group of Asian men and the look right after them with the men and woman wearing similar looks, the woman, in the end, was so classic, love the coat of the guy at 0:30, I think the way it was cut it was very interesting. I would love to have seen more fo his look. :)
I really like some of the looks. What's interesting is that years ago, men really cared about their outward appearance. You can see that in old time movies and pictures. Also, everyone at the Pitti Uomo has individualistic tastes and it was reflected in what they were wearing. Here is to more people who dress with style and flair!!
They all look like they're trying too hard, standing around posing, really? It just looks so uncomfortable and unrelaxed. I think I'll look to the designers for inspiration and on the street, but not here, not these self-absorbed pretentious fools!
