Postmark.com is the only online platform for all sellers, you can list as much as you can for free. You will be charge 15% of the sell after the item was sold which is work out very nice for all sellers. Goodby Ebay for all your insulted all sellers that working hard day and night to build the business then got kick off without do process. Thank you Postmark, you are the best for me and millions other sellers.
Great video! I love it when you teach a poor boy to fish rather than just showing the bounty at the end of an expedition as a lot of others do. Do you have a specific shoe size range that you limit your searching too? Like 8 and up?

I’ve recently found don c animal pack converse and some Daniel arsham adidas at Ross 27 bucks for each I was happy. But I keep all my kicks lol

I’m disappointed that there was never a follow-up video done or at least the YouTuber never posted the link in the description and I couldn’t find it on his page.
Path to Billions (4 days ago)
It's crazy how many Ross's you have around you. I don't even have 20 in the whole state. I'll have to try this with Marshalls.

This seems like such a relaxing job, you get to do things all on your own tempo, you are your own boss, you get to go outside and see new places and meet people all the time. It probably has it's fair share of difficulties but i am willing to try this out!

Veronica Llamas (13 days ago)
Lol I think it’s pronounced more like la coast🤣🐊
Edgar Tiscareno (16 days ago)
I've just started reselling shoes and I don't want to go too deep in debt from buying a ton of sneakers to resell. I work at Marshall's so I have the scoop on our inventory and I just bought the Adidas NMD_R1 for $35 and I'm hoping to resell them. Don't know how much I'll make though. Wish me luck!

If I can source some shoes for you would you take them and list them on your amazon and we do business like that?
Side Hustle Network (28 days ago)
Not interested at the moment

Don’t have rights to sell Nike yet
Mark T (1 month ago)
To all the people that feel busted because you won’t make much back, all I have to say is that if EBay and amazon can’t hook you up, us the Mercari App. You can sell the shoes at retailers price and make a killing.

So a new seller cannot sell nikes on Amazon anymore right ? I would basically be limited to eBay and other sites right ?
ernest gould (1 month ago)
very true example of how hard it really is to earn a buck on ebay

I thought you are not allowed to sell Nike on ebay because it’s on the VERO list?
tiktok11150 (1 month ago)
The orange and black Nike would be picked up by a SF Giants fan in a heartbeat. A co-worker of mine would have snapped those up in a minute if they were in his size.

For everyone who hasn’t done this before, let me say that it takes a good while to sell shoes for larger profits. Quick flips get you $10-15 a flip
Adam Freilich (1 month ago)
Your video is great but I dont understand why you buy a sneaker for 45 and sell it for cheaper, where is the profit in that?

Hi, thanks for your videos, Can you help me please? I am rather new to ebay, and am limited at selling, not because I have many items for sale, but because the items I do have are of a high value.if I open a basic store, can I list a few items, that cost a lot? or would I be forced to sell many items at a lower cost because I do not use half of my selling item limits?
ArbitraryLifestyle (2 months ago)
Perhaps another reason to send these in to Ebay instead of Amazon because... no box?

I swear I used to hate stores like Ross and Marshall’s until I got married and my wife opened my eyes to the glorious world of discount stores. I literally have only bought a hat from a mall in 6 years. Mostly everything I wear is from TJ Maxx, Ross, Burlington, and Marshall’s. Great video!
LRFLekk (7 days ago)
it's insane how much cheaper life becomes when you embrace the thrift store life
Human Centered (3 months ago)
So after gas, wear and tear, shipping materials, time to list and ship you’ll be at $16/hour if they all sell at the margin you’re hoping for.

Not the smartest thing to do to give away and undermine your own business model/secrets, especially to sellers in your area (in this case Oregon).
Side Hustle Network (3 months ago)
You’re assuming this is a main business model of ours which it’s not.

Are there any restrictions when selling on eBay? I know Amazon has a pile of obstacles. eBay seems like a great option if you don’t mind doing it this way. Is the only downside that you have to sit on the inventory? Great video, thanks for sharing.

Did u know Puma & Adias were two brothers who each had there own Shoe factory & hated each other in the end they both passed & made millions
Fxinted - (3 months ago)
marlene fischer yeah they split up because one had to go to the army
Chance White (3 months ago)
You have to figure gas & time as well, which would factor into my comfort with doing this. I have passed on many potential thrift shop sales because by the time I sold and shipped them it would not have been worth it for me.

This video was a game changer, we never sourced at Ross, or any of the other discount stores, after watching your video we started sourcing shoes and recently picked up a cool pair of jeans at Ross to flip on our eBay store. Thank you for sharing
Cain Grimm (4 months ago)
Have you considered using goat? Not sure if it would make sense for you since it takes a percentage but no shipping cost
LeeTheAsian (4 months ago)
Then minus the tax. Then minus the fuel used. Then the hours. Then the hours at home listing, packaging and shipping.
GBT (3 months ago)
LeeTheAsian There's a mileage deduction (currently $0.58/business mile driven) and plenty of other business write offs. You can't put a price tag on freedom. There is also more room to grow and scale your business vs. working part time at a supermarket. It's not for everyone.
Side Hustle Network (4 months ago)
And it also trades time for money while answering to someone else to control your schedule. Great for some people but not for others. Good luck with that mindset 👍🏼
LeeTheAsian (4 months ago)
@Side Hustle Network Workin part time at a supermarket probs makes more profit since it doesnt put miles and wear and tear on a car. As a side hustle
Side Hustle Network (4 months ago)
Common sense.
Romy (4 months ago)
This is so useful! Thank you very much for the code explanation which will make it easier for me to get started back on ebay with shoes...I find them so cheap everywhere! I pick up brand new shoes with tags at thrift stores for $5 and I found clearance shoes at Walmart for $1...not much risk there so I bought every pair. I saw some go for $40 a pair for those ones but I dont expect to get that much.... Today I scored gently used shoes that were $90 new for $5 for myself. Ross is a great place to shop for my own shoes and now I see how the code works...great idea to check them out...
Sonia R (4 months ago)
Ross has 10% off for senior citizens on Tuesday where I live. Would be a good little gig for retired folks.

Beautifulmusiclistnr (4 months ago)
Chad, question for you please. When you list these shoes on Ebay to sell them, do you leave the tags on them or do you take them off the shoes? Let's say you sell a pair of shoes for $55 that you bought for $16.99. If you leave the tags on them, the Buyer is going to probably get upset once they realize that they could have bought the shoes for $16.99 instead of $55, correct? Again, I'm guessing that when you sell them, you probably remove the price tag which also has "Ross" on the back of it. Please advise. Thank you and I so enjoy your videos!
Beautifulmusiclistnr (4 months ago)
@Side Hustle Network Thank you my friend!
Side Hustle Network (4 months ago)
Always remove the tag
charles8642 (4 months ago)
sales tax 7.5% plus eBay's 13% cut; plus the cost of shipping and there is still room for any type of meaningful profit. interesting.
Side Hustle Network (4 months ago)
We don’t have sales tax here 👌🏼
Brianda Ornelas (4 months ago)
What the usual minimum amount you are looking to earn from reselling an item.?.
Side Hustle Network (4 months ago)
For shoes specifically I like to shoot for a $15-$20 min. profit. It also depends on the buy cost. If a shoe costs $75 to buy, I want more than that $20 profit, but if the buy cost is only $30, then $20 is an acceptable return.
