If I would have to spend my two cents on bosses I wish there was a way to spare, I would put them on Grigori from Dragon's Dogma. True, he toke your heart from your very chest, and still… For the Whole game I had the feeling I shouldn't kill him. And the endgame just make it even worse. To me, at least.
Unpopular one:Solo wing Pixy from A.C Belkan War...half way through the game your wingman defects..only to fight him at the end..He doesn't die per say but it sucked knowing you had to shoot him out of the sky."Yo buddy, still alive?"
Fighting Sif is even worse if you've done the DLC and met him in the Abyss, because if you do that before fighting him in the main game, instead of being a ferocious defender of his master's grave, he recognizes you, sniffs around at you, seems happy to see you, and then the look in his eyes changes to "Oh...oh no, I have to kill you, Master told me to kill anyone who came here. I'm sorry." Then he steels himself, grabs the sword, and comes at you like you're any other trespasser.
He is a good boy.
Actually it was confirmed in the DS canon that Sif was a female wolf. And as someone who did fully complete the Artorias of the Abyss DLC before beating the main story the part of that new boss fight intro cutscene that makes it 10x to 20x more tear-jerking is Sif doing that mournful howl before grabbing the sword. I literally said during the reveal of Sif's health bar "I'm sorry Sif I wish there was another way".
Missing people from the Suikoden series. Like Tirs father in Suikoden. And Jowy in Suikoden 2. And Luc in Suikoden 3. The fact you have Steve here and no one from Suikoden shows that this list is a big joke.
F*ck that Sif fight. Was he trying to protect us from the abyss (after DLC)? Did he recognize we were strong and fight us so he "see artorius" again? Doesn't matter. I always went in with dark bead so I could put him out of his misery without that limp.
Actually it's confirmed in the DS canon that Sif is a girl wolf. As for your first question the answer is yes Sif was trying protect you from the abyss. As for the answer to your second question if you do the DLC before completing the main story Sif recognizes you as the warrior who saved her in the abyss along with saving her master from his cruel fate and the reason why she is fighting you is because with his dying wish Artorias told Sif to guard his grave now depending on whether or not you completed the DLC the nature of this final command changes if you did not do the DLC the order is to guard Artorias' grave so no one has to go through the cruel fate he went through however if you did the DLC before reaching this part of the main story(Which I did do) his order changes to guard his grave so no has to suffer the cruel fate he barely avoided.
Steve Burnside's death traumatized my childhood. I had always believed bad things couldn't happen to good people, but when this happened to Steve, it scarred me. I lost sleep that night....blaming myself.
What about Gehrman, the First Hunter? A fight between two of the last hunters, in a field of flowers. Gehrman wanting to set the player free from the dream, while the player wants to free Gehrman. 1 franchise entry per list, I guess.
No there's not cause if you fully complete the time-travel DLC Artorias of the Abyss the intro cutscene to Sif's boss fight changes to Sif recognizing you as the warrior who saved her in the abyss along with saving her master from his cruel fate and then after being happy with reunited with you the mood changes to sorrowful cause the combo of look in the eyes and mournful howl is her way of saying "Oh no no this can't be happening Master told me to guard his grave to ensure no one suffers from the fate he barely avoided I'm so sorry my friend but I'll do what I have to in order to ensure you the human who saved me and my master from his cruel fate doesn't meet that same fate."
monster hunter any limping monster they all start out so frirce but you slowly destroy them then they make you watch as they limp away with there wounds i always feel like just ripped all the fight out of them
