Part II Counterfeit Culture Moscow https://youtu.be/MwJTT1D2PbE
In recent years, Korea has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion markets. Koreans are obsessed with fashion, and the country produces scores of talented designers, many of whom are now breaking out onto the global stage.
Beneath the surface, though, there’s an insane market for counterfeit streetwear. Of course, you can find fake clothing all over the globe, but there’s places in Seoul that are selling convincing knock-offs of hyped brands like Raf Simons, Off-White, Balenciaga and Fear Of God.

Okay I'm going to get so much hate from this but like the host keep saying that fact like korea is like copying America is kinda partly... a bit dumb? Sorry for the shade but like seriously does that mean the rest of the world is also copying America? Because I'm pretty sure korea aren't the only country that wears brand sweatshirts etc
I never understood why anyone would pay a lot of money to look like everyone else.🤔I use the money I would spend to custom everything .The feeling of something made just for me ,no one has it ,for a fraction of the cost is the best .
Fuck Fakes but Fuck Supreme and Fuck HUF, their shit not even tough, they're overhype brands. You want quality streetwear that may hurt the pockets but style, quality is undeniable can't go wrong with Palace, XLarge,Y3. Saw a Supreme cross body man purse (you know that crossbody bag every single person in Japan wears) 48,000 Yen, laughable when you could get that same bag from Mr Porter for half the price and the quality is far better if you're searching for brand name shit, in all honestly I got a mint condition (used) MR Porter crossbody bad at a 2nd street ReUSE shop in Hiroshima for 6,500 Yen..
Polution and sandstorms? LMAO where did you do your research? The main reason people wear face masks is not to spread a cold or avoid catching a cold. SMH... Some of y'all should just stay in Whiteland and shut the F up.
I am someone that doesn’t like wearing branded stuff, unless it’s real. But like if something is not branded and it’s like a counterfeit, then fuck it, I’m getting it. I especially like pastel clothing, hoodies with different colors on it, and like bomber jackets that have a print in the back. As long as there is no brand labeled on the clothing, then I’ll take it for cheap.
The fake products don't look like they have bad quality, and he never explained why they were of poor quality for being clothes. I think it is rather nice to make it affordable to people rather than stack all that cash into one's pocket for overpriced name brands. I was never a name brand girl, so I don't feel any offense in fake products that look good and feel good and are reasonably priced. If you really like fashion, it's not about the brand and money, it's about the inspiration your clothes give.
SMH ppl on here trying to justify counterfeit culture; you are all wrong. If you can't afford it don't wear it. If you really want it, work and save your money. Too expensive? Why don't you take that same energy that goes into creating fakes to design something new. That fake shit is corny af.
ok but being tall isn’t fashion or anything?? it’s literally genetics it’s not something you chose?? why would you state it like it’s the younger people’s faults that they’re taller than their elders lol
I don't know what the fuck he is talking about Actually most people don't buy those shitty fake ass clothes in Korea, only few people don't know anything about fashion buy those. It is pretty sensitive deal to wear fake or real here.
I live in Korea and among locals clothes that are sold at Dongdaemun is considered cheap and low-quality. Even ten years ago its shopping malls were crowded with local shoppers but now you would only see tourists there. Most people I know usually buy clothes from online or department stores.
"Sorry *insert designer* who decided not to sell to a market who wants them" fuck you dude, they can't get it really any other way. Seriously? Sorry for their work being copied because THEY made it unavailable.
Hahaha look at you trying so hard to fit in but the vibe you are giving is just a British guy having existential crisis walking on the street of Seoul trying to shade for ... making yourself feel better?
why isn't anyone telling them that theyre "too Asian and they need "diversity" and need to embrace mass immigration"?? cmon vice.. youre so good at painting white Europeans and americans as evil racists.....what makes the "rich Asians" any different? Fuckin liberal snowflake cuckolds
The start of the video was terrible. Full of misinformation. The country is stuck. It had rapid economic growth for 3 successive generations and now is stuck. They have serious problems that the video chooses to ignore and goes for sensationalism
im fine with all fakes except when it comes to shoes. Its alright when others buy fake shoes for the looks, but when buying really comfortable shoes like ultra boosts or yeezys i want the true experience.
Forget about the overhyped, too expensive brands. You are what you wear. You can just buy what you can afford. It's people preferences. Brands exist in the name of fashion. . Besides, economy sucks.
Just my 2 cents.
