2 things about this video:
1- my turtleneck is too thick for this suit. I grabbed the wrong one to shoot the talking part of this video. That makes my jacket look too small for me. SUIT MISTAKE!
2- not being political with the thumbnail. President Trump’s ties are just always too long :)
Yes but short ties look dweeb
I would think the president could wear anything he wants. Presidents actually set style.
Remember John f Kennedy? He was the first president to not wear a hat.
Ever since his presidency you dont think of powerful people wearing hats anymore.
Not since the 40s and the fedora
A suit needs a tie plain and simple. Made from good fabric no bowties unless you re a liberal reporter from wapo
You should not see a pattern in your suit from closer than 10 feet away.
Collar size is important so base the size on your own face.
Small collars make big men look like tics, large collars on small men make your head look shrunken
And learn to tie a full Windsor knot. The tie should just touch your belt.
Your shirt sleeves should not stick out more than an inch. Forget French cuffs!
As for color...NEVER NEVER EVER wear brown! Charcoal to lighter shades of grey can make you look fat. Black is power but dont let it get shiny.
You cant go wrong with navy blue.
Shirts should be linen or oxford .stay with white if possible unless you're selling cars.
Shoes medium heel, tied no slip ons unless you're over 50.
No hassles or buckles.
No jewelry except wedding band and maybe college ring if you're under 30. No pinkie rings EVER
Watch medium size no commando or smart gadget watchs.
Stuck with analog 3 hand or real automatic chronograph if you re an engineer
No fashion watches or blingy diamond bs this includes movado...
Best faces are black white and blue.
Pay for a decent haircut, make sure your shoes are polished
More important than your suit is your smile.
Get your teeth fixed if needed even if it costs thousands
Not everyone is perfectly skinning , I like your Channel but you ALWAYS CATER TO THE SKINNY MEN , WHICH PISSES THE HELL OUT OF ME BECAUSE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS IF YOUR NOT SKINNY LIKE MY MODELS THEN DON'T BOTHER TRYING TO LOOK GOOD
Do not agree about smartwatches. If u can afford yourself a smartwatch, a good smartwatch, which is not cheap at all, u have to be able to buy straps. If we talk about Apple Watch, you can install a leather strap or a Milanese steel strap. The same thing we have with all other good a expensive smartwatches.
I think theres nothing wrong with Smart watch and suit. I would slap those fags who thinks these ugly black glasses are super trendy... I think we're just different.
Also it doesnt matter what kind of wallet you use... theres no such "rule"
Yes, leather card cases are more elegant but lets say, because of personal reason, I use an ugly one, but I wouldnt change it for anything.
Turtle neck are very very 2000.
So this video was a bullshit video...
My God, are you from a different planet?? The divots you have on your arms underline that you haveing a blazer NOT suiting you and your body style. Your arms also are too tight making the blazer looking congested! Never seen anything so wrong fitted!!!!!
This is classic! A video about suit mistakes and...:
1) The suit is too small.
2) The shoulders do not fit the physique.
3) The black polo neck is circa 1997.
4) The smart watch is ok - we're just not used to it yet (and this suit is not timeless...)
5) The pocket kerchief is lame - no shape, no colour.
6) The sleeves are slightly too short.
7) The trousers are too short - it looks like you've grown out of your entire suit.
8) The tie is too thin and not done up properly.
9) The hair. Really?
10) Learn to shave better.
Basically, you've failed in the very thing you've set out to explain.
How many of us (your audience) spend their days at social events. You should also recommend a practical/professional ensemble that is less than $100 that isn't bespoke, that actually looks decent.
EDIT: I said what I said because people in an office or a factory/warehouse floor tend to think that a person who is "power dressing" isn't authentic or is just a 'suit' who has no idea about the realities on the ground.
Who make the rule about not buttoning the bottom most? Legend says that some king in Europe didn’t button the last one b/c he is so fat and his court follows because they want to keep their head. I like to button all of mine...b/c I like the way it look on me.
I strongly disagree! A shirt shouldn't be worn like 20 years ago! Give it a futuristic look with a smart watch! A more casual tone with your ring or bracelet and FOR GOD'S SAKE! Don't go with the classics! It's gonna look boring! (I won;t even comment on how unnecessary it is to tailor your suit if you know your size, it was mentioned just for promotion and it was obvious)
This suit looks too small and ight. A suit should look like the shoulders are wide enough to fit your shoulders comfortably, without bulging below the shoulder seam. It should be long enough to reach the curl of your fingers when your arms are at your sides, and the sleeves long enough to reach the break of your wrists. And the front should not pull at the button when the suit is buttoned, while following the contours of your body at the waist and hips. The slightly longer coat length should cover your butt, and puts the button at your natural waist, which gives the lapels a graceful curve, instead of making you look like the Pillsbury Doughboy. The pants legs should be long enough to cover the tops of your shoes, and wide enough to do so gracefully draped from the hips and waist, instead of plastered to your legs. The suit in this video is too short and tight, which makes you look like a peasant who doesn't know the first thing about men's fashion. If that is the look you want, you should wear more fashion-forward clothing instead a badly-fitting suit. Your accessories should complement your suit and shirt, rather than compete with them. Keep your wristwatch inside your shirtsleeve, and other jewelry to a minimim.
