This is what it takes to make $1,000 in PROFIT on eBay per month, NOT SALES.

I wish all resellers would limit their videos to 10-20 minutes a video with usefu info and limited filler. I tend to skip videos ehen I see theyre longer than 20 minutes or over monetized and packed with ad slots.
My goal is to make $1,000 per month selling on eBay while working a part-time job. Got an interview this Wednesday 🤞. By the way this is my 4th month selling on eBay and so far so good. My sales has increased.
Watched this yesterday but, just now getting to comment. This is EXACTLY what I tell my wife. I worked for years in the corporate world. And I am a numbers guy. Becoming successful on Ebay (or Posh, or Etsy) is in fact a "numbers" game. If you have a 1% sell through then you need 1,000 plus items to make real money. Preferably, like 1500 or more. We have 245 items. And we sell through right at 2-4 items a day. If it is zero one day then it will be 5 the next. But, roughly 2.5 a day on average.
This is one I can relate to as well. We have GW "retail" stores here. So we have to pay up for button up shirts, jeans, etc. $3.99 to $7. Leaving a LOT less on the bone profit wise. We changed our approach where now we are "ultra" picky about what we are getting. If we can't get above about $25 plus ship. We will not pick it. The issue there? We are now having to make about a 4 hour round trip to get inventory by hitting like 4-6 GW retail stores. And a few other family owned stores.
I’m aiming for $1000 right now lol, to me it is a lot (only been selling 3 mo and I’m halfway there). My goals aren’t everyone’s though as I’m a thrifty person and have no debt so I’m living off 2k right now (and I have a teenager). So loving the shirt!! Makes your eyes pop 😉👍🌈
CJ Kelly My situation is similar. I've been selling for about 3 1/2 months, I'm aiming for $1,000/month and am making half of that per month so far. Taking a short break from listing. I use my breaks to do more research for my business, including this video 😉
Great explanation. If you want to take it a step further, add income taxes to your analysis. Google 2017 tax brackets to figure out what your federal income tax rate is, based on your income from all sources and add another 15.3% for self-employment tax. Those who live in the 45 states with an income tax, don’t forget to set aside $ to pay that too 😱
