Nightmare Before Christmas? Atlantis: The Lost Empire? Hunchback of Notre Dame? Renaissance? Final Fantasy? Howl's Moving Castle? Princess Mononoke? Pocohantas? ALICE IN WONDERLAND?????? None of these gets an honorable mention? Wow. L

I wish I never watched Grave of the Fireflies & I would NEVER suggest it to anyone. It's one of the saddest movies I've ever seen in my life. No one should watch it, not even once.
Ejaz PA (6 hours ago)
Grave of the fireflies 😖😖😢😢😭😭
J&Y Videos (15 hours ago)
I♡spirited away
jim nasty (21 hours ago)
I watch all of this Movie, And the no. 3 is my favorite.
Sam Giles (1 day ago)
Imagine someone making a film or TV show called Animation Collaboration, using EVERY single known type of animation. That would be really cool to watch!
Alex Krok (1 day ago)
How the hell did you make this video and NO ONE thought to include Wall-E? Seriously dropped the ball on this one.
Malay Asthana (1 day ago)
I was expecting spirit: stallion of cimmaron at least in honorable mentions...
Matt Wolf (1 day ago)
I've seen all on the main list except 4 and I want to see that someday.
glasses Phua (1 day ago)
Yes first is spirited away, the parents turn into pigs and no-face scared me a lot when i was young. Princess mononoke and Howl moving castle should be here in this list. Though i did not like graves of the firefiles, but it was a good touching animated cartoon especially when the younger sister died and the brother was in the train station and there was injured people.
Alejandro Elvira (2 days ago)
Hopeless addicted to Spirited away. Can't say stop.
Aliénor Doutaud (2 days ago)
I'm surprised no one mentioned the King and the Mockingbird, it was what inspired Miyazaki to make his movies
Diana North (2 days ago)
no Howl's Moving castle?
BigAristotle94 (2 days ago)
A lot of great films here. My 7th grade art teacher showed us Grave of the fireflies over 2 classes. Talk about sad; he had us going back to home room crying and contemplating life lol

They forgot Dante's Inferno:An Animated epic
Chinox _182 (2 days ago)
the end of evangelion?
kirara2516 (2 days ago)
The only reason The Iron Giant failed at the box office is because of poor marketing.
andrew onken (2 days ago)
As someone who saw Spirited away only 2 times in his life once at 7 and once at 11 i can say it is most certainly the best film ive ever watched as i have a better memory of this movie then any movie ive seen even now 10 years later at 21 and knowing that others agree has gotten me so hyped up i want to go watch again (and also it was my introduction to anime as well as it showed on toonami/adult swim when i was a child)
Aximo daviD (3 days ago)
"Your name" anime movie should also be part of this list
Bismuth Brighteyes (3 days ago)
The Iron Giant!!!!!
fatimah anwaar (3 days ago)
I only clicked because of the thumbnail (PS the main protagonist of Spirited Away is the perfect role model for teenage girls and is the exact opposite of some disney princesses such as Cinderella)
Chong McAfee (3 days ago)
The Iron Giant is an awesome one. I would also add Whisper of the Heart and sequel The Cat Returns. Both studio ghibli anime
Caravel96 (3 days ago)
All children should be forced to watch Watership Down at least once.
nikola simic (3 days ago)
Just came to check if spirited away was on 1st place
and where is supposed to be Wall-e?????
Melchior Decitre (3 days ago)
the american animation industry got nothing in comparison to the japanese. just look at the "best" american animated movie. the lion king? is a rip-off from a japanese cartoon xD
Lalotte red (3 days ago)
Everyone ALWAYS forgets The King and the Mockinbird
Arnaud Lécuyer (3 days ago)
I think that The Nightmare Before Christmas should be there... Probably the best stop-motion animated movie.
wodtcagt (3 days ago)
I've seen 9 of those movies
Matt Laws (3 days ago)
I figured Snow White, the film that started animated films, would've made the list.
Kristin Brown (3 days ago)
Hard to believe Wizards (1977) isn't on this list. It's a dark look at the dangers of modern mechanization and Fascism. Likewise, what about The Secret of NIMH and The Last Unicorn? Both have star-studded casts and wonderful animation. Fern Gully, too. I think you need a part two.
Julius Caesar (3 days ago)
coraline, kubo and the two strings, wall e, paranorman, kimi no nawa (your name), a silent voice, how to train your dragon 123....the list goes on...you guys should make animated movie list that flew under our radar
Filip Orvik (3 days ago)
Iron Giant is soooo underrated or at least underseen.
Nole (3 days ago)
Kimi no Na wa Koe no Katachi Sayoasa (Maquia)
BlackOut4 (3 days ago)
Your Name(Kimi no Nawa)? how could they forget the most commercially succefull(and extremely beautifull) Anime movie of all time? and honestly ill rank some other anime movies higher than a few of the movie on this list.

I want an Akira life action movie but... God damn it, I really don't.
Ahcheenui Utai (4 days ago)
At least once???? Bahahahhahaha
I'm a simple man, I see dubbed anime and I hit dislike.
Micah Chisum (4 days ago)
I'm slightly upset Heavy Metal did not make the list. That movie was an animated landmark.
Pfisiar22 (4 days ago)
Grave of the Fireflies is the best movie I can never watch again.
Donnie Huynh (4 days ago)
No Prince of Egypt?
No Wall-E 😔...
Mia Eloise (4 days ago)
Wheres Wolf children ? Or A silent Voice ? Not even Princess Mononoke ? Or how about Vampire Hunter D ? Or even The Tale of Princess Kaguya ? Yea, this list is a no-go for me......
Dean McEntevy (4 days ago)
South park bigger badder?
seegrub62 (4 days ago)
Princess Mononoke Barefoot Gen
Jon N (4 days ago)
You really should be featuring the original Japanese audio with subtitles for the anime films instead of the English dubs.
Topaz_no_life (4 days ago)
does anyone have a copy of grave of the fireflies i can borrow because i *can't find it ANYWHERE!!*
Topaz_no_life (4 days ago)
anyone who doesn't think that animation is a serious art form literally don't understand how much work goes into animation.
larry peoples (4 days ago)
Any Studio Ghibli film is amazing.

marlowe mikaza (4 days ago)
Isnt fantasia a short ? Spirited Away is cool in all but where the hell is Howl's Moving Castle
Emily Marshall (4 days ago)
Where is Howls Moving Castle, Your Name, From Up on Poppy Hill, The Secret World of Ariety, Silent Voice and When Marnie Was There, Whisper of the Heart and The Cat Returns! At least one of these movies should've been mentioned, I recommend everyone watch these ESPECIALLY From Up on Poppy Hill.. Now I'm going to go on an anime binge 😂 I do agree with Spirited Away as top pick though 😄
alys앨리스 (5 days ago)
for japanese animated films, I definitely recommend all of studio ghibli films and a silent voice (shape of voice/koe no katachi)
SURAM Reddy (5 days ago)
Your name movie is missing you can't miss it
gigglingevil (5 days ago)
Lion King shouldn't be on the list! They ripped off Kimba the White Lion from Japan!
Finally! Some respect to old, classic, cartoon & CGI/Clay-mation Movies. These are my favourites: The Iron Giant , The Lion King , Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit , My Neighbor Totoro , Laputa- Castle in the Sky , Howl's Moving Castle , Kiki's Delivery Service , And let's not forget, Spirited Away is my favorite one out of all. Edit: I also gave the video a Like, and I appreciate you guys putting Spirited Away at Number 1. (No offense to those who wanted their favorite movie/s to be at the top of the List)
Emperor Tunalirius (5 days ago)
lunarrainbow2501 (5 days ago)
Spirited away is one of my favorite movies
BetaWolf47 (5 days ago)
I'd pick Inside Out over up, personally.
Bee Whistler (5 days ago)
I love Spirited Away, The Iron Giant, and the Pixar films, but I can't stand The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. Most of the reason is the endlessly camp Broadway showstoppers. Ugh. Cringy. And the foofy, inflated, awkward Disney animation style. But Beauty and the Beast is especially annoying because I don't like what they did to the story and Belle is just so full of crap! Oh, I want great adventure... oh, wait, not that kind of adventure! Now ima have a tantrum! But don't forget that I'm perfect and too good for these humble peasants. Prettiest girl in town and also smart and they just don't understand her. She invented the special snowflake.
JimMeans1 (5 days ago)
2nd list, when you get around to it: 10) Your Name 9) Porco Rosso 8) Isle of Dogs 7) Tangled 6) Tokyo Godfathers 5) How to Train Your Dragon 4) Inside Out 3) Prince of Egypt 2) Kubo and the Two Strings 1) Coco
Grace Wilbourn (3 days ago)
Funny thing, Lin from Spirited Away and Gina from Porco Rosso have the same voice actress in the English version. She also voiced Meg in Hercules, and Rose in Steven Universe
MASTER GAMER (5 days ago)
I nevered watch anime... only dream works,Disney, illumination, and sony movies....so yeah, that's all...I think I watch half of the movie already
Nabus Intox (5 days ago)
Persepolis and Beauty and the Beast were BORING. Pom Poko and Heavy Metal!
NickToxic (5 days ago)
Akira Number 10 and (overrated) Spirited Away on Number 1? This is hilarious.

Pinnochio should be top 3 at least. Still Disney's finest film to this day. A true masterpiece of the animation medium.
James Matthews (5 days ago)
I'll have to check out PAPRIKA.
luke ellinghouse (5 days ago)
Spirited Away is such a great and underrated film. It is truly amazing.

Chiara Offreduccio (5 days ago)
At 06:11 .....I’m so glad that there’s at least one other person (even if it’s an animated character) who curls up on the couch and binge-watches the Romy Schneider “Sisi” movies when they’re feeling down.
mafiemafaki (5 days ago)
waltz with bashir should be on the top ten, not just h m
Sean Slaughter (5 days ago)
What no howl's moving castle or kiki's delivery service.
Chiara Offreduccio (5 days ago)
WatchMojo deserves the Ten Plagues (okay, maybe not the last one) for not including *”Prince of Egypt”* on this list. *It’s one of the most visually stunning and emotionally compelling MOVIES of all time.* It’s better than EVERY SINGLE BIBLICAL MOVIE EVER MADE, including “The Ten Commandments” and pretty much every Jesus movie (with the exception of “The Passion of the Christ). I know plenty of atheists who love Prince of Egypt! Please add it to this list before you have three major world religions angry.
Debdyuti Chakraborty (5 days ago)
Where is Kimi No Nawa???

Ollie Smith (5 days ago)
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs should of been here, its very important as its the first full length animated movie.
Lotuswalker (5 days ago)
