I have had these tire for 13 months and I wanted to provide an updated review for wear. From new these were 18/32 and now they are at 13/32 with a little over 18, 000 miles on them. Most of the time I am on pavement and then some dirt and gravel. Now if you are spending more time off the pavement you will notice more wear. Thanks for viewing

In this video I demonstrate how to replace the Ruger factory grip on a .357 mag GP100 with an after market Hogue Monogrip Here is an Update: March 15th 2014 I actually took this gun out target shooting. The rip is better than expected. The recoil was almost completely absorbed and my hand never hurt from shooting.

In this video I demonstrate how replaced the valve for the hot water line. The prior valve had some corrosion causing it to continue to leak. This is a 10 min fix, and fairly simple. Just make sure the water source is turned off from the main line. It is the same procedure for the cold line.

A much needed tool for your tool box is the G5 ASD. This little tool will help you achieve a nice square end and allow a perfect square surface for your knock and inserts to match up flush. It may be a bit pricey but so is the tournements or elk tag you're paying for. Take the time and have your arrow tunes.

Here is a step by step tutorial on how I fletch my arrows. I always use a wrap, but it can be done on a bare shaft. I use a wrap because removal of the shaft is much simpler with a wrap on. I am using a bitzenburger jig.Even though I am using a helical clamp for this the blazer vanes are so short there really isn't much of an twist to them. I generally will use a straight clamp with a slight offset. When I am fletching shafts with feathers for my recurve bow I use the helical clamp. Is your dog starting to shed? This is a video for you. In this review I am using the furGOpet dog grooming kit. I purchased it from Costco. I was really looking for just the deshedder tool. For the price i couldn't ask for more. I've been using it for a year now and have no complaints. I haven't used the comb since my dog doesn't get tangles. For the price though I couldn't find a better grooming kit. The amount of hair I was able to remove before it made it onto the floor was well worth the $$.

Have you ever had those places where you had a great location for your trail camera? Maybe it's only 10 minutes away from a computer or if you're like many of us it's over an hour away. Maybe a few hours. You see on your camera you have 100's of images. And there is no way for you to view them. Here is a tip. All in one card readers are made that will plug into your smartphone and tablet. Transfer the images and view them on your mobile device. No more waiting to get home to find out what you have. Thanks for viewing and I hope this helps in your quest to not have to wait until you return home to see what you have on your camera. If you like what I shared please give it a thumbs up and subscribe. Subscriptions always seem to encourage me.

30 years ago this September my brother Brad passed away from Lymphoma at the age of 20. I dedicated this hunt to him as he never had the opportunity to hunt elk. Through trials and tribulation including a likely broken arm from flipping over my bike while avoiding a skunk the first week of the season I accomplished the goal of making a clean shot on a branched bull elk. This one is for you Brad.

First I must apologize for the lighting. In this video I demonstrate the method I use to cut carbon fiber arrow shafts. I have been doing my own since 2008. Most shops will leave the nock on to cut the shafts to length since that is the industry standard. I've made a slight modification by removing the nock. I hope this helps you as you learn to improve your skills in maintaining your equipment. If you have any tips please leave a comment. I purchased this REI Passage 2 tent a couple years ago. I waited to give a review after I had been able to use it. Overall I am very pleased with this tent. There is plenty of room for one in this 2 person tent. The rain fly gives enough room in the vestibule to place your boots and pack on the outside without getting wet. This is a two person tent so it's not as light as a one. It may be a good idea to split the payload if hiking with another if you will be sharing the tent with them. The weight is around 5lbs compared to just under 4lbs for the REI Passage 1. The poles are made from lightweight 7001 aluminum. Overall this a great tent and I would recommend it for the three seasons it is meant to be used in. 2 side doors, each with their own vestibule?, provide easy access without the need to crawl over your tentmate; dual storage space is a real plus Fully adjustable, ceiling-level vents mitigate condensation by drawing cool air under the fly from the lower perimeter and exhausting warm, moist air Rectangular floor plan with end-to-end symmetry makes it easy to arrange sleeping bags and gear and provides organizational efficiency and comfort Equal-length aluminum poles, color coding and pole clips facilitate a quick and easy setup Insider floor provides the waterproofness of a bathtub floor and the taut pitch of a cut-in floor; tautness improves door-zipper operation and maximizes volume at end walls Seam-sealed polyester fly and floor ensure a waterproof, durable and sag-free shelter Multiple interior storage options are provided by various combinations of mesh side pockets and hang loops located throughout the tent Save weight and create a minimalist shelter by using just the rainfly, footprint (sold separately), poles and stakes Includes a compression stuff sack, 6 stakes and 3 guylines? with tighteners

In this video I give a review and demonstration of the all new RUCAS HD backpacking camp stove. This is a Heavy Duty Repurposed Ultralight Compact Alcohol Stove. The walls on this stove are much thicker than the original. I recomend that when using this stove to use some aluminum foil or an old lid from a tin can to get it off the ground for insulation. Also use a windscreen. There are videos online for how to make your own windscreen or you can find them pre-made online. The fast prime method I used had all jets activated under 20 seconds and I had 2.5 Cups of water boiling at 8 minutes. This used 1.25oz of fuel. In this video I demonstrate how I apply a wrap to an arrow shaft. I won't fletch an arrow without a wrap. No more scraping dried glue and ruining a carbon arrow to replace a vane. I may have to replace all 3 vanes instead of just one , but the process is so much simpler when a wrap is on the arrow shaft. Where I say use slight downward pressure don't hesitate to really apply firm downward pressure to make sure the wrap sticks. also having the wrap and shaft at room temp will also allow the adhesive on the wrap to stick better.

The Shed Titan is manufactured by BigWig products. (1)Rounded Edge - (It's unique rounded edge conforms to your pet's rounded body. Why is this helpful? - Because with each stroke you will cover a larger surface area of your pet's body enabling you to remove more hair with less strokes which will dramatically decrease skin irritation.) (2)Fur Ejector Button - (With the push of a button you can easily eject the fur from the deshedder's blade. This makes for easy cleaning and it really saves time when brushing) (3)Ergonomic Grip Handle - (Makes tool easy to grip and quite comfortable to use.) This is no Hollywood kitchen. Some of you may actually cringe. These are some softest cookies I have made. They are a big hit with my daughters and coworkers. Hope you enjoy. Vanilla Pudding Chocolate Chip Cookies (about 2 dozen) 1 cup butter, softened 3/4 cup dark brown sugar 1/4 cup sugar 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding 2 eggs 1 1/2 t vanilla 2 1/4 cups flour 1 t baking soda 1/4 t salt 2 cups chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet and milk) Preheat oven to 350. Mix together butter and sugars until creamy. Add the pudding, eggs and vanilla and mix again. Add the baking soda and salt and mix one more time. Add the flour (this is where I use my hand mixer). I start with 2 cups and add the last 1/4 cup if it needs it. Lastly add the chocolate chips and mix. Drop by the tablespoonful full and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack.

To start I will give a disclaimer: I'm not a plumber. This video is how I replaced the Temp and Pressure (T&P) valve on my water heater. It had been leaking for years and it was time to replace it. It is not just enough to replace what isn't working but to figure out why it was leaking. It wasn't broken. It did what it was supposed to do - release excessive pressure. Here are what some would call basic steps, but to a beginner it might not be: 1. Turn power supply off at the breaker panel. 2. Turn water supply off 3. Drain water to be below the T&P valve Talking to a plumber that was at my work I mentioned the problem I was having. He asked if I had a Thermal Expansion Tank on my water heater. My response was what's that. I took a look at the tanks at my work and realized I was missing the expansion tank. I know not all areas are required to have them on your water heater. It wasn't required on my heater. After buying the house and being in it for a few years we had to install a back flow devise to keep water from the house returning back into the main water line. When pressure would build the system would backflow into the main line. With the BFD now installed the pressure in the heater caused the T&P valve to do what it was supposed to do. That is why it was leaking. I took off much more than is really needed to replace the valve. It was old copper flex tubing. I would be replacing it with wire mesh flex hose.

FIRST OFF: THERE IS NO MUSIC. Just the sounds the cameras recorded. Using my Canon and GoPro HD 2 video cameras I was able to record a short fishing trip. I made my way down below Koosah waterfalls on the McKenzie River. I had last been to this specific location when I was 13 or maybe 14. It's been a while. I live just over an hour from here so I think more trips will be in the near future. The actual time fishing was just under an hour and I had landed 9 or 10 fish. One spit the hook before it landed. I like to pinch the barbs so I can fish longer and do less damage to the fish I release. I only used night crawlers. I don't know how to fly fish. As for my footing, yes it was slick. I wore my Under Armour Speed Freak hiking boots. I hope you enjoy the video.
